MIDI Shenanigans

The Bleepin' MIDI Events Menu lets you set up MIDI to fire off when a song loads, or when you finally nail that one section (we believe in ya).

Addin' the Good Stuff

Wanna add a MIDI command to your event list? Tap that + button in the lower right corner like your life depends on it to open the MIDI Editor Thingy & add new commands. You got this. Probably.

Grabbin' MIDI Like You Mean It

Instead of manually torturin' yourself creatin' MIDI commands with the MIDI editor, you can flip on the Listen for MIDI events switch & let OnSong do the heavy liftin'. It'll listen for incoming commands from your MIDI device—control changes, program changes, note events, system exclusive, the whole shebang.

Oops, I Did It Again

So you went ham on the MIDI events & now you're like "ZOMG what did I do?" No worries. Tap that eraser icon & OnSong will ask real nice if you wanna nuke all your MIDI events. Fresh start, baby.

Bye Felicia

Wanna delete a MIDI command? Swipe right to left over an item in the list (revolutionary, we know) to reveal a Delete button. Tap it. Boom. Gone. Poof.

Tweakin' Your Tweaks

Open an item by tappin' on it to crack open the MIDI Editor & make your changes. You're welcome.

Rearrangin' Your Furniture

Tap that Edit button in the upper right corner to put the list in editing mode (wild concept, right?). Now tap & drag those reordering handles on the right to shuffle your MIDI events into whatever order makes your heart happy. Or tap the red minus icon on the left if you wanna delete stuff. We won't judge.

Testin' Your Mettle

Tap the Test button in the upper right corner to actually send those MIDI events & see if any of it works. Fingers crossed! 🤞
